Visit at the French Embassy
Tuesday, January 31 His Excellency Mr. Henri Paul, the Ambassador of France inRomaniareceived a delegation from the part of the Armenian community inRomania, formed of the president of the Union of Armenians of Romania, senator Varujan Vosganian and the Right Reverend Bishop Datev Hagopian, the Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church inRomania. During this visit, the community representatives gave the French ambassador thank-you letters for the President of France, the President of the National Assembly and also for the President of the French Senate, for their support in recognizing the Armenian Genocide. As you know the French Parliament adopted, on January 23, the bill that criminalizes the denial of the Armenian Genocide. After he received the letters, His Excellency Mr. Henri Paul talked to the two delegates.
